Hey Guys & Welcome Back to Ana’s Crafts! Today we’ll be learning on how to knit The Purl Stitch The Purl Stitch has waves on the right side & on the wrong side, it’s the Knit Stitch It also tends to curl and it becomes a woolly cylinder I am going to teach you an easy technique to keep it flat or at least less curls So what are we waiting for? Let’s get started Cast on any multiples of stitches you like, I have 10 stitches on my needle Before we start Purling, we need to help it flat so start by knitting one row now if you want it to curl, just skip this part and go to the part we start purling once you’re done with one knit row, head to your second knit row Done with that? Let’s start purling! Purling is really easy, instead of knitting-which is going up and behind, you do the opposite just go into your 1st stitch purlwise and yarn over after that go behind and out let’s do that again and again, this is knit & this is purl the more stitches you have the better because you can get more practice and then you’ll surely get the hang of it all I am going to do it slowly this time you’ve just done 1/2 the steps to purling now on your next row you knit all stitches because the back if purling is the knit stitch and the back of knitting is purling so now, repeat those 2 steps until it’s the length you desire Now I just going to you the steps Row 1: Purl all sts Row 2: Knit all sts Row 1: Purl — Row 2: Knit & that’s purl stitch play with your yarn and needle sizes for different looks Purling is a good technique to know because most knitted goods have purling in them Bye!
