I think one of the things that designers don’t understand is that you don’t buy your fabric from
a fabric store. Are you making this costly mistake?
Stay tuned and find out what not to do! You want to get it from
the main person. You want to get it from
the source. You want to get it from the companies
that actually produce it. Whether it’s a mill or a wholesaler
or a jobber. But you don’t want to buy
your fabric from a fabric store. I think that’s the most important tip to give
because it ruins any chance you’ll have of profitability. It raises, it increases the price of your
product so drastically that it won’t be sellable. So please, designers, don’t look to fabric
stores for purchasing the textiles
you need to produce your line. You must go to the source. Want to learn more?
