It is often enough to take an existing design, size and color it, and stitch it out. First we open the design we want to work with. Choose your machine type. Open the Auto Fabric dialog to select stitch settings which will suit your chosen fabric. Re-color the design and assign threads from your preferred thread chart. Experiment with different combinations. The Hoop tab provides a list of available hoops. Find one that will fit the dimensions of the design. Run the Stitch Player to simulate stitchout onscreen. This helps you see exactly what will happen on the machine. Because you’ve changed the original design, you’ll want to save it with a different file name. Finally, in the Output Design toolbox, select the Export Design option. This converts the design file into a format the machine can interpret.
